Last night, Nate crawled up on my lap, looked up at me and said, "Mom, I wanna go home." I just hugged him and told him that I understood.
Today, I took Kennie and Justin to see the movie up. As we got out of the car and started walking up to the theater my conversation with Kennie went something like this:
Kennie - "Mom, I don't think I can walk anymore."
Me - "How come?"
Kennie - "My legs aren't working."
Me (kinda concerned) - "What's wrong, where does it hurt?"
Kennie - "Don't be silly mom, they don't hurt. I am just homesick. I want to go back to Ohio."
Me - "Oh, well, I am sorry, but that doesn't cause your legs to stop working." Funny!!
Anyway, is it possible for homesickness to be in the water? I think we all have it!!!

Sending lots of hugs. I still miss Ohio sometimes. I hope they have lots of friends soon and can start working on missing a new place.
I can send you some Ohio water if you want?? Hee hee. How can you not miss Ohio, honestly? I think it's hard to be inbetween. Not too much longer til' a new home that I'm sure you'll love, too.
That breaks my heart. You have quite an adventure ahead of you. I hope that the boys can all fall in love with Alaska and that you will all have fun. Nothing will ever be like Ohio, but I hope you will find the same kind of joy in Alaska.
