In Tears

Don't click on this link if you don't want to be in tears. I have spent the last hour and a half reading this blog and am overcome in tears. Thanks Katie for the link on your blog. I feel I have learned so much in such a short amount of time.

I am off to hug and kiss my kids until they can't stand it.

Lukas - LONG post

This post is for Grandma Pat (Luke's grandma). She hasn't seen Luke in over a month because he has been staying with us. She won't be able to see him for another month. My mom and Luke leave on the 19th of August. Beware, there are a lot of pictures here because we have been doing LOTS of fun things with the 4 boys since Luke has been here. There is NEVER a dull moment in this house!!! Add Maggie to the mix and it's a party! All 4 boys looking at the camera at the same time. Having fun at the park.

Luke eating the water. The water in Dayton is tasty!! (YUK!)
This really isn't what it looks like. He is sitting on a seal that is spitting water. We thought it was pretty funny though. He thought it was funny too. He wouldn't stop laughing.

Luke has fit right in with the boys. Justin loves to help him do things. Luke was hesitant about running through the water, so Justin took his hand and helped him through.

Nate and Luke crawling through the stream.

The rule at our house is you have to wear a helmet to ride a bike. Since Luke doesn't have a helmet, he has adopted the baseball helmet while he rides "his" bike.

Luke riding the "sooter"

Luke is banging his hand on the table and saying "guilty."

Luke in the truck. Nate is going to pick him up with his digger and get him out. Ya right! If you only knew how hard this picture was to get. All 4 boys looking at the camera at the same time. Yikes!!
This is what Luke would look like as a fireman.

Out of the mouths of babes

We were at the school today so the kids could play on the playground and Kennie was being overtaken by the bugs. I about died at his comment.

"I need to teach these bugs a lesson so they will leave me alone."

Love it!!

Maggie's first tatoo

Did I scare you?? Every year just before the 4th of July, Wright Patt AFB has a 4th of July celebration that they call the tattoo. They have fly overs with a bunch of the military planes (Aaron's favorite part). This year they had the Charlie Daniels Band come and play. (That was Grandma's favorite part). They also had the Air Force Band play for us. (One of them, Aaron says there are several.) They brought the flag in by parachute. That was pretty cool. The night ended with a great display of fireworks (definitely NOT Nate's favorite part. He was terrified and buried his face in my neck.) Here are some pictures.
On our way there.

Kennie's favorite part. The Cotton Candy!

Justin drinking the Lemonade.

Nate hiding from everything.

Maggie chillin'

Luke smiling for the camera.

Kennie, Justin & Wesley (our neighbor) in the wagon and Luke trying to pull the wagon.
